OneStar fact sheet
Checked October 15, 2026. The live version is at onestar.sh/press.

Name: OneStar (one word). Domain onestar.sh. Not related to other companies that use the OneStar name.

One sentence: OneStar reads the reviews of any app or game on the App Store, Google Play or Steam and turns them into one report, with the reviews behind every number.

What it is: A review analyzer for the App Store, Google Play and Steam. Any app or game, your own or a competitor's.

Who it is for: Indie developers and small studios first, indie game developers on Steam, founders studying a market, and product and growth people who need evidence for a roadmap.

Price (US dollars, the same everywhere):
Free: 3 reports a month of up to 500 reviews each, no card. Public reports are free to read without an account.
Pro: $19 a month or $190 a year, up to 5,000 reviews a report. Opens Compare, Ask, tracking with alerts, CSV export, App Store Connect and Play Console connections and the reply inbox.
Max: $49 a month or $490 a year, up to 25,000 reviews a report. Adds written analysis.

Platform: Web, at onestar.sh, in any current browser on desktop or phone. No download.

Stores covered: Apple App Store, Google Play and Steam. One report can combine every store a product ships on. Reviews from a CSV file can be analyzed too.

How it works: The Jev model from TypeSafe answers the same twelve typed questions of every review, each with a probability. Plain code does the counting. Every number opens the reviews it was counted from, and unsure answers are shown as unsure. On Max, LLMs write short passages about the counts; code fills in every figure and quote.

Reviewer privacy: Reviewer names are never read, raw review text never touches disk, only excerpts up to 200 characters are stored, and personal details are removed before anything else sees the text.

Public since: September 23, 2026. Launched on Product Hunt on October 8, 2026.

Public gallery on October 15, 2026: 83 apps and games with a public report, 195,026 reviews read, 42 Steam games, 41 App Store apps, 42 Google Play apps. The live count is on onestar.sh/press.
