Ask your own users, and read the answers beside your reviews.
Put a quick reaction, an NPS question, a poll or a short survey on your site or in your app. Code counts every answer, each share with its range, and keeps them next to your store reviews, never mixed in.
- Nothing stored until someone answers
- Form answers and store reviews kept apart
- On Pro and Max
This one is live: OneStar's own NPS question. Only the maker of OneStar reads the answers.
Four starting points, and when each one fits
There is also an open feedback button: a text box with an optional topic, for bugs and ideas whenever people have them. Every question can be changed after you pick a starting point.
Quick reaction
One tap in stars, thumbs, faces or a scale, then an optional why.
Use itRight after something happens: a finished level, an export, a support chat. The first tap is saved at once, so it counts even when the person skips the why.
NPS
The 0 to 10 question about recommending you, with a follow up that changes with the score.
Use itEvery month or quarter, to the same kind of user, when you want one number to watch. The score comes with its 95% range, so a small sample says it is small.
Poll
One question with one or several answers, and an optional Other.
Use itBefore you build: which of three features, which platform next. Results can be public, so the people who voted see where it landed.
Survey
Up to 20 questions mixing ratings, choices, rankings and written answers, with follow ups that show after a given answer.
Use itOnboarding, a playtest, or the moment someone cancels. Use it when you need the reasons behind a number, and keep it short.
Wherever your users already are
Every answer records where it came from, so Results can show which place got answered and which was ignored.
Inline on a page
In the flow of your page, like a paragraph, at the width you give it.
Popover, slide in or modal
Opened by your own button, or by a timer, scroll depth or exit intent.
Its own page
A OneStar page for the form, shared by link or QR code, with no code on your side.
Inside your app
A web view in an iOS, Android, React Native or Flutter app, with a page that tells your app when the form is answered.
Your store reviews and your own users, side by side
Reviews come from the people upset or delighted enough to write one. A form asks the rest, and OneStar keeps both on your product, next to the review analysis you already read.
Counted by code
Ratings, choices, NPS and rankings are counted by code. Each share shows its range, completion is shown per question, and a small sample is marked as one.
Never blended
Form answers never mix into your store figures. Results keep them on their own, and a report you build on your answers labels every number with its source.
Themes in your review words
Read a form's written answers as a report and Jev sorts them into themes that line up with your reviews. Past your plan's answers for the month, new answers are still stored and counted up to a ceiling, and themes wait for the reset.
Replies in the Inbox
Written answers sit in the Inbox beside store reviews. Reply by email when the person left an address, or in the form the next time they come back.
On your site in about two minutes
No package to install. The quickstart walks through it with your own form, and Frameworks has React, Next.js, Vue, Svelte and Astro.

Make the form
Pick a starting point, change the questions, then publish. Until you publish, nothing can answer it.
- 02
Allow your site
Add the address of the page you will paste it on. Answers from your own machine are always test answers.
- 03
Paste two lines
A script tag and the element. The loader is about 3 KB gzipped and fetches the rest when the form comes near the screen.
- 04
Send a test answer
Answer it yourself and watch it arrive on the Install tab. Test answers never count and are removed after a week.

<onestar-feedback form="f_hemsz66yupbd76d2"></onestar-feedback>Docs a person or a coding agent can follow
Every page of the docs is written for both, with working samples and the exact events, attributes and error codes the element has.
Developer docs
Plain HTML, React, Next.js, Vue, Svelte and Astro, native apps, modes and triggers, theming and troubleshooting.
Read the docsA Markdown copy of every page
Each docs page is also Markdown at its address plus .md, and llms.txt lists them, so a coding agent can read the quickstart and install the form for you.

Connect Claude, Codex or Cursor to your OneStar account and ask about your forms and their results in the same chat as your reports.
Set up the MCP serverEvents, the API and webhooks
DOM events and a JavaScript API on every plan with forms. Max adds a REST API, signed webhooks for new answers and imports of older answers.

What the widget keeps, and what OneStar keeps
Nothing is stored in the visitor's browser before they answer, and the widget sets no cookies. After the first answer it keeps a random device key, so a reply can reach them and a form set to one answer per person does not ask twice. Contact details are kept only when your form asks for them, sealed, and shown to no one but you. Personal details are removed from written answers before Jev reads them.
The security page lists every field, and the privacy policy covers the rest.
Part of Pro and Max
Anyone can answer a form, with no account. Making forms needs Pro or Max.
Pro, $19 a month: 5 live forms and 2,000 answers a month.
Max, $49 a month: 50 live forms and 25,000 answers a month, with the REST API, webhooks and imports.
Compare every plan, or read what a review report shows on any app first.
Questions, answered plainly
Installing it now? The testing guide covers localhost and test mode, and troubleshooting covers a form that does not load.
What is OneStar Feedback?
Short forms you put on your own site or in your own app: a quick reaction, an NPS question, a poll, a survey or an open feedback button. OneStar counts the answers by code and keeps them next to the App Store, Google Play and Steam reviews it already reads for your product, never mixed in.
Why ask users when I already read my reviews?
Reviews come from the people upset or delighted enough to write one. A form reaches the rest, at the moment you choose, with the question you choose. Reading both side by side tells you whether the reviews speak for most of your users or a loud few.
Which plans include forms?
Pro and Max. Pro, $19 a month: 5 live forms and 2,000 answers a month. Max, $49 a month: 50 live forms and 25,000 answers a month, with the REST API, webhooks and imports. Anyone can answer a form, with no account. A free OneStar account runs reports on any app but cannot make forms.
Do answers use my monthly reviews?
Ratings, choices, NPS and rankings are counted by code and use none. Written answers that Jev reads for themes count toward your plan's monthly reviews. Past your plan's answers for the month, new answers are still stored and counted up to a ceiling where forms pause, and themes for their text wait until the month resets.
Can I try it on my own machine first?
Yes. Add http://localhost with your port as an allowed site. Answers from localhost and 127.0.0.1 are always test answers: the form shows a Test ribbon, and they never count in results or toward your monthly answers.
Does it work inside an iOS or Android app?
Yes, through a web view. The form's own page has a version made for web views that tells your app when the form is answered, and the native apps guide covers iOS, Android, React Native and Flutter.
Will it slow my page down?
The loader is about 3 KB gzipped and loads the rest of the widget only when the form comes near the screen. The form draws in a shadow root, so your CSS and its CSS never collide.
Who can see the answers?
Only you, unless you share a form's results by link or publicly. Shared results quote only answers given while quoting was allowed, and nobody's contact is ever shown.
Ask the users who never leave a review.
Make a form for your app on Pro or Max, put it where your users already are, and read the first answers next to your reviews.
