Terms of service

These terms cover your use of OneStar, a service that reads public app and game reviews and summarizes them into reports.

Accounts

You sign in with an emailed link or Google. You are responsible for activity in your account. One personal workspace belongs to each account.

Plans and billing

Free plans have monthly limits shown on the pricing page. Paid plans are sold by Polar as merchant of record, which charges applicable tax and issues receipts. You can cancel anytime; paid features stay on until the end of the period you paid for.

Acceptable use

• Do not try to access other workspaces, probe report ids or bypass plan limits.
• Do not use the service to harass the people who wrote reviews.
• Automated signups and disposable email addresses may be blocked.

Reports and public pages

Reports summarize public reviews. Short excerpts are quoted as evidence. Reports you publish can be viewed by anyone with the link, or listed publicly if you choose.

Service providers

• Vercel hosts this website and its sign-in.
• Fly.io runs the analysis service.
• Neon stores the database (accounts, workspaces, reports).
• Cloudflare protects the service and runs the spam check on sign-in.
• Resend sends sign-in links, alerts and opted-in updates.
• Polar merchant of record for payments, tax and invoices.
• TypeSafe runs the Jev model that judges reviews; it does not train on customer data.

These terms may change; material changes will be announced by email to account holders. Contact details will be added before launch.
