What goes wrong
The language options are limited and that makes me really sad as I was really wanting to learn my family’s language Ukrainian but they don’t have that option
The amount of ads make this app completely unusable for me.
Busuu is far too expensive for what it offers.
After A1 the lessons come with a ton of words without explanation at all (complete dialogs in foreign language that you still haven't been taught), no translation.
The intro test to determine your level in a language does not work. Because of that the app is useless to me, I can't even start.
What goes well
sooo amazing app like it literally taught me some french words in first use and you should go for it
I actually love this learning app ^^
Easy and quick to use
This app has something better than Duolingo, it offers a community section where everyone can come together and edit each other’s posts/answers, which is absolutely awesome.
This app is worth every penny.

I signed up for a 6 months pro version and I am very disappointed to see that I cannot proceed further in the lessons without agreeing to share my voice with their AI.

I did not ask for a renewal plan and the app automatically renewed for a year and it cost me $290 CAD!!
had a 320 day streak and it just deleted it today, then told me they can't restore it. dont use if you want a streak.
