What goes wrong
The microtransactions, the irritation of not having a permanent port crystal in a major city for too long, the annoyance of the ai, and OF COURSE the stupid plague that they brought in for pawns...
Unplayable due to crashes after puchasing DLC. Tried adjusting settings, redownloading, verifying, and check all drivers. New year same BS issues for this game. Huge waste of money
The game unplayable , performance is very BAD.
No multiple biomes, no endgame rotation, just beat the game and level classes.
This is caused by mouse input being translated to joystick emulation and there is what feels to be a dead zone in the mouse movement. This is why I quit playing earlier and why I am quitting again.
What goes well
Great sequel to a great game, love the variety between the classes, will admit i miss the magic knight from the orignal but it adds to the challenge where youre only allowed one weapon type rather...
Dragon's Dogma 2 is the greatest game I have ever played.
Hideaki Itsuno walked so Kento Kinoshita can run. This game is great now, the optimization alone makes this game worth it. With the expansion, this is the best Dragon's Dogma has ever been.
Amazing game, loved the first one and love this one.
DD2's story is actually incredibly deep. Its sort of a rip on the first game.

So new dlc completely broke the game crashes on launch during gameplay stuttering and fps drops. We waited for so long and paid 30 bucks only to be beta testers again...

While at launch I had issues running the game, after a recent update the game runs buttery smooth. Providing a single player party based adventure without peer, I've loved my time with the game -...
800+ hours on ps5. 5 full restarts from scratch [this so far being my 6th here on pc] and i still love this game. Solid 7.5/10 would absolutely recommend.
I play this game when I don't want to think. It has very satisfying combat, good visuals, so-so open world, and a terribly executed story. It's a lot like the first game.
