What goes wrong
So now I; someone who is brand new to the damn app has to suffer the consequences of someone else, a consequence that shouldnt even apply to me!
literally won’t load anything, have had 3 updates to the app and 2 on the software of my phone and still not working! it’s the only app i reach for and can no longer use it at all:((
Won't be downloading this simply on the principle that it's being forced upon users to view ANY thread whatsoever after one of the recent updates.
utterly useless with the removal of r/all
because of "technical issues" my account is being locked every day and then the app won't let me reset the password.
What goes well
absolutely great
Love the community and support
I love Reddit. Heaps of content.
It was tough to navigate through Reddit before but as I adjusted my post and contributed more, Reddit helped me grow! It’s a two way street for sure!
I’ve heard of Reddit from my friends and it was my first day and it’s so engaging. Till now it’s great using it.

the website blocked the entire screen with an uncloseable fullscreen ad and sent me to this download page. 0/10 terrible experience.

In recent years the platform feels like it has been in decline, and void of scrutiny. The admins dictate what can and can’t be posted, and unfortunately a large portion of them are not neutral.
I'm fed posts from communities i don't follow with opinions i don't agree with and trying to engage in conversation about why always results in me being punished in some way.
Web locks me out of viewing a thread by forcing me to go view in app, viewing in app doesn’t take me to thread, suggested fix is to delete and restart phone but now it won’t download
