What goes wrong
Game is just not enjoyable on higher difficulties for casual players. I've died over 10 times on ironclad A10 despite searching up guides. New updates are just making it worse. Don't buy.
You are just making horrible balances and destroying the game yourself right now in the beta version.
But the devs had a lot of time to cook this and this Early Access doesn't have much content compared to StS1.
Boring RNG game. Don't recommend this to anyone. Every fun build I remember from the first game has been removed and replaced with worse less fun version.

What goes well
Great game, had high expectations after slay 1, and slay 2 happily surpasses all my expectations!
I love this game.
Great game, got into the OG STS too late, but now the sequel hit me like a truck, with the power of friendship as it has Multiplayer support which is the best way to experience this game in my...
Great game, loads of replay value and good for quick breaks between work
Great game that will only get better. Especially with workshop support!

The game is just too damn difficult unless you're a sweaty min/max nerd that finds all the exploits. It's a fun game for a time, especially with friends, but it gets to a point where the effort...
Unplayable performance on a modern but non-gaming Linux laptop, and no graphics scaling options available

Cons: while I really enjoy this game and hope it improves, the devs decided to scrap one of the most intriguing Act 3 bosses and replace it with an abomination that punishes the player for playing...
Its a nice game to chill to if you dont feel like doing much but the balance of some fights are way off and some rooms should be swapped with actual bosses due to the mechanics of their fights.
As someone who was obsessed with the 1st game, I am even more obsessed with StS2. I haven't played multiplayer but the game is incredibly engaging solo.
